The best way to describe this place is Hell on Earth, or Nether in the Overworld... literally.  Ghasts, Blazes, Pigmen, even Wither Skeletons all have found a home here.  It is not recommended for any adventurers with weak armor and low damaging swords.  Very few can face the horrors and fires that this desert holds.  One may find themselves blinded, on fire, and withered, trying to find a water source, as vex are summoned and ghasts hurl fireballs at them, only to see a pack of husks charging at them.  Yet, in all of this chaos, it is said that a dwarven civilization once lived here.  They lived before the nether mobs came.  In fact, they are what brought them to this desert, by accident.  A survivor once reported that it was a peaceful biome.  The dwarves performed experiments daily.  But, one night, they all vanished, and it seemed the nether had replaced them.  Everyone wants to find out what happened to the dwarves, and made you will.

The last evidence of the dwarven civilization is their temples.  The rest of their buildings have disappeared, but somehow, their temples still stand.  Some say that magic holds them, as the sand that is blown inside slowly changes into Evolved Sand and Sandstone, a stronger version of itself.  These temples are desolate and untouched, as the only loot they carry is encased in obsidian... or so most say.  However, the true treasure they hold is the secret to unlocking how all the dwarves disappeared, which you may uncover.
